GRIEF SHARE – SEASONS OF GRIEF – SEASONS OF HOPE New summer session begins soon – tuesday, june 5, june 19, july 10, july 24, august 7 and august 21 meeting at the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta in the church parlor at 7:00 p.m. When you lose someone who has walked life with you, your life is changed forever. As seasons change grief stirs in us in a new way. When life slows down and we reflect on our loss, we realize our hearts still need more healing. As the healing continues, hope will rise up and joy will come in the morning.

First, I want to thank you for enlisting in the Baghdad Prayer Patrol. It has been very encouraging to see believers from all over the world focus their prayers together on the troops, police, and people of Baghdad. We're off to a good start, but I would like to match the number of people praying with the number of extra troops we are surging into Baghdad. That means we need your help. Here are 5 things you can do:

1-Send a note to people you know telling them about the Prayer Patrol, and encouraging them to sign up. Include this link www.prayercentral.net/baghdad

2-Send a note to any prayer lists you are a part of asking them to promote the Prayer Patrol to their list.

3-Get your church or other ministry to put the Baghdad Prayer Patrol button on their website. (get the code here www.prayercentral.net/buttons)

My wife and I are missionaries living in S. Asia, and have our hands full of life and ministry here. We put up the Prayer Patrol in obedience to the Lord, but we don't have the capacity to promote it as it should be promoted. We need your help. We are also looking for more contacts with soldiers on the ground in Baghdad who can give us some reports of what God is doing there, so we can report back to you and the others who are praying. If you know anyone who could give us some feedback, please let us know. Thank you again for being part of the Prayer Patrol. Prayer and Healing Service, 2nd and 4th Sunday's at 7:00 p.m. The prayer and healing service invites believers to come before the throne of God in quiet meditation and faith. There is a time of teaching, worship, and silent prayer. Prayers for healing of emotional and physical wounds are offered by a prayer team at the end of each service. Followers of Jesus are invited to bring people who don't know the Lord, but are in need of a touch from God. The Lord has been so faithful in blessing us as we simply come in faith and ask. We are going deeper in our understanding of the work of the cross as we watch the hand of God in our lives. The prayer and healing service is held every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 7 PM. I was Born and Raised in Sussex County. This blog was created for all who live within this region and are believing for a mighty move of God within our backyards! In the Bible the question is asked "Can anything good come out of Nazareth" likewise those like myself answer "Can anything good come out of Sussex County" with a resounding "YES!" Jesus was raised in Nazareth! Likewise, may the power of the message of the cross of Jesus Christ unto salvation and His glory radiate from Sussex County to change NJ, the United States and the World.

Let's try to keep this blog dedicated to prayer. If you would like to share a prayer please keep in mind many will be reading it. If your church or ministry is having a prayer meeting or a time of praise and worship that anyone in the Body of Christ of Sussex County can attend, please feel free to write a blog mentioning the location, date and time. Please forward this link to your pastor and any Christian missionaries that have been sent out from this area that we might corporately pray for them.

In John 17 Jesus prays that "they might be one as I (Jesus) and the Father are one." Let's agree in prayer, seek his heart and listen to His direction.
